biofresh chose British Potato 2009 to unveil the introduction of a new 7-year warranty on their ethylene systems for sprout suppression in stored potatoes. This guarantee on units underlines the quality and reliability of the biofresh product. Harry Smart, Executive Chairman of biofresh, says; “We have offered this 7 year warranty so that customers can get 2 more years of value from the equipment making it even more cost effective. Indeed, for larger stores biofresh ethylene management systems are fully cost-competitive with CIPC.The take-up of biofresh systems has been very encouraging and reflects the increasing pressure in the market for residue-free sprout suppression.”
At the event, biofresh also announced a range of new finance packages.
