News - biofresh brilliant in Berlin

In February, biofresh attended Fruit Logistica in Berlin, the leading trade fair for the international fresh produce trade. The biofresh exhibition stand was extremely well visited with much interest in the biofresh smart-pallet. The stand was focussed around a live demonstration unit that showed the benefits of produce treated with trace levels of ozone compared to untreated produce. This visual display attracted lots of positive attention and clearly illustrated the obvious benefits of ozone.
Ozone is a natural gas which inhibits the spread of fungal disease and delays the natural ageing process. Ozone technology has been researched at Newcastle University for over 10 years. Biofresh ozone management systems provide a reliable, easy to use and cost effective way to remove fungal and microbial contaminants and prolong the freshness of produce.
